Facial
Rhinoplasty
Refined reshaping of the nose to improve facial balance and, where relevant, breathing function.
Overview
Rhinoplasty adjusts the bone and cartilage of the nose to bring it into better proportion with the rest of the face. Some patients are addressing a longstanding concern about shape or size; others are correcting a breathing obstruction alongside cosmetic goals. We plan conservatively, using digital imaging to discuss realistic outcomes before any decision is made, and we are candid when a smaller adjustment will serve you better than a dramatic one.
What to expect
The journey
- 01
Imaging consultation
Digital morphing software lets us explore possible shapes together, grounded in what your anatomy can realistically support.
- 02
Surgical planning
We confirm whether an open or closed technique suits your goals and review anesthesia and facility details.
- 03
Procedure day
Surgery typically takes two to three hours under general anesthesia at our accredited surgical suite.
- 04
Splint removal
The external splint comes off around day seven, revealing the early shape beneath residual swelling.
Afterward
Recovery
- 01
Week 1
Rest with your head elevated; most bruising and swelling around the eyes peaks and begins to fade.
- 02
Weeks 2–3
Visible swelling subsides enough for most patients to return to non-strenuous work and social activity.
- 03
3–12 months
Subtle refinement continues as internal swelling resolves; final shape is best judged at the one-year mark.
